Well-made
and well-fitting tack can have its useful life extended by sympathetic
repairing as well as regular cleaning. Every time, a bridle or leather
girth is used, it loses some of its fat content due to the heat
and sweat from the horse. This results
in the leather becoming dry and brittle. So, every time you clean
your tack, check over the stitching and any weak points. Well looked
after, supple leather has a lesser chance of breaking in normal
use than neglected leather. If however, you find yourself with a piece
of broken tack, then please contact me with regard to repairing
it. All the repairs
are hand-stitched
and could include:
• Restitching stirrup leathers
• Girth straps replaced
• Saddle flaps stitched
• Replacing keepers
• Headcollar repairs
• Fitting a microchip Below, is an example of my prices, to be used
as a guideline. There is a minimum charge of £5.00. If you
